Business Recognition Awards Celebration

You have the opportunity to nominate a business, business person, or organization for these honors. For a nomination to be valid, the Nomination Form must be complete and submitted no later than 12 noon on Friday, July 26, 2024.

Entrepreneur or Business Person of the Year
This award recognizes an entrepreneur or business person who has achieved extraordinary accomplishments in business or shown dedication and commitment to furthering business in Ulster County.

Business of the Year
Any Ulster County business (25 or more employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers and clients and to furthering business in Ulster County.

Small Business of the Year
Any small business in Ulster County (less than 25 employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers and clients and to furthering business in Ulster County.

Tourism or Hospitality Business of the Year
Tourism and hospitality is one of the largest segments of business in the Ulster County economy. This award recognizes the excellence and dedication of a business in this industry.

Commitment to the Community (Not-for-Profit) Award
This award recognizes an outstanding not-for-profit organization that has improved the quality of life for the citizens of Ulster County.

The Heritage Award
This award is given to a long established, family-owned, multi-generational local business that has had a significant impact on the Ulster County region and has a history of community service.

Emerging Young Leader of the Year
This award recognizes a young professional or business owner (age 21-39) who has achieved success professionally and/or has provided significant contributions to the local community. Presented in conjunction with the Chamber’s Young Ulster Professionals (YUP).
